Kumbh Mela concludes today

The year-long 'Kumbh Mela' which began in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar last year, will conclude today.

The 'Kumbh Mela' started on July 14 last year after a grand flag-hoisting ceremony

Satish Shukla of Nashik Purohit Sangh said the flag will be brought down on Thursday in a ceremony at Trimbakeshwar at around 9pm and in Nashik at around 9.30pm. The Purohit Sangh has invited Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for the function.

Meanwhile, the Nashik Municipal Corporation has made elaborate arrangements for the programme where a large number of devotees are expected to take part.
