Reports that US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump repeatedly asked a foreign policy adviser during a briefing why the US could not use its nuclear arsenal was first aired on an MSNBC TV show on Wednesday, adding weight to the growing chorus about the Republican nominee's sense of responsibility. "If we have them, why can't we use them?" Trump asked thrice. Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton has repeatedly said that Trump cannot be trusted with the nuclear button.
