Shashank Manohar to step down as BCCI President

Shashank Manohar has decided to step down as Board of Control for Cricket in India President.

Manohar, who became the BCCI president last year after the position was left vacant due to death of Jagmohan Dalmiya, is expected to be elected as the International Cricket Council chairman soon.

He was instrumental in bringing sweeping reforms to Indian cricket over the last few months.
