Kanhaiya says BJP supporter tried to strangle him inside aircraft, 1 held

'Manas Deka, works in TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), a strong BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) supporter assaulted me inside the aircraft. Is assault the only tool you have, to fight dissent? (sic)' tweeted Kanhaiya Kumar on Sunday morning, after alleging that he was assaulted inside a Jet Airways aircraft from Mumbai to Pune.

Mumbai police has arrested one person in connection with the case. It is, however, not confirmed that the person under arrest is Deka.

Kanhaiya Kumar and his assaulter were reportedly offloaded at the Mumbai airport after the incident.
