Congress won't stall Parliament, but will oppose Centre: Azad

On the eve of the Budget Session, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad has said the Congress will not disrupt the proceedings in Parliament but oppose the government.

In an exclusive interview to ETV head Jagdish Chandra, Azad said the Congress is ready for dialogue and discussions in Parliament.

"Parliament will not be disrupted beyond a point," he said.During this session, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance government hopes to garner the support of opposition parties in passage of key legislations, including the goods and services tax bill.

Besides, the Bill to replace Enemy Property Ordinance, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and Companies Amendment Bill will also be taken up.
