Owaisi denied permission to enter Azamgarh

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has been denied permission to hold any events in Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, due to the current state of communal tension in the nearing Mubarakpur city.

"The district administration is scared. I was in two districts today and there were absolutely no issues. But Mulayam Yadav is the MP from Azamgarh, so they are scared and there is pressure on the administration," Owaisi told ANI.

A violent scuffle broke out at a snack stall yesterday in Mubarkpur after food was allegedly served on papers which quoted the Quran.
