CPM to blame for Kolkata flyover collapse, says CM Mamata

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sought to deflect responsiblity for the Kolkata flyover collapse, saying that the CPM should be blamed as the flyover was built during their government.

At least 27 people were killed and more than 80 injured as two parts of an under-construction 2.2-km-long Vivekananda Flyover collapsed in a congested market area in Burra Bazar, north Kolkata, on Thursday, April 1.
