2 detained for murder of NIA officer in Uttar Pradesh

Two persons have been detained in connection with the murder of a National Investigation Agency or NIA officer last week in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor.

Mohammed Tanzil, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, was shot at from close range by two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle near Sahaspur town on Saturday. Tanzil, 45, was returning home to Delhi with his wife and children after attending a family wedding.
