Seeking a written order of the Bombay high court, the Shani temple authorities have denied entry to Trupti Desai and her Bhumata Brigade.

Locals, on the other hand, are also protesting and raising slogans against Desai.

The temple authorities are saying that not even the men are allowed inside the inner sanctum and thus stopping women is not a violation of the HC order.

They've also said that they're planning to challenge the order in the Supreme Court and hence without a legal scrutiny, the women will not be allowed inside the sanctum.

Fearing a law and order problem, the police is stopping Desai from entering the temple.

Desai, meanwhile, said that the police has submitted in the high court that they'll protect the women's right to enter religious places and but they're doing the opposite today. She said she will not budge and will not go back to Pune without entering the inner sanctum of the temple.
