Rahul arrives in Kolkata, to visit flyover collapse site

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has arrived in Kolkata to visit the site of flyover collapse.

The flyover had collapsed in Kolkata's Girish Park area on Thursday.

Rahul is likely to visit the hospital to meet the people injured due to the mishap and also express his solidarity with those who lost their lives.

The state government had earlier announced an ex gratia compensation of Rs 5 lakh to next of kin of the victims and Rs 2 lakh to the gravely injured.
