Normalcy restored at NIT Srinagar, classes to resume on Monday

Classes at the National Institute of Technology in Srinagar, which was shut down on Friday following clashes between two groups of students, will resume from Monday as normalcy has been restored on the
campus.
"The issue has been resolved and the earlier order to suspend work has been revoked," an official of the NIT said.
He said the class work will resume from Monday.
The NIT authorities had Friday ordered shutdown of the campus till further orders after clashes between local and non-local students over the defeat of Indian cricket team against the West Indies in Thursday's semi final clash in the ongoing World T20 Cup.
