Campaigning for first phase of polling in WB, Assam ends today

The campaigning across 65 constituencies in Assam and 18 constituencies in West Bengal will end today ahead of the first phase of polling in both the states.

The polling for the first phase is scheduled for Monday, when the fate of nearly 539 candidates would be decided.

The Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements in all the poll bound areas to ensure smooth elections.
