Abhinav Bindra clinches gold medal at Asian AirGun Championship

Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra shot 208.8 points to clinch the gold medal in the 10 metre air rifle event at the Asian AirGun Championship in New Delhi on Sunday.

London Olympics bronze medallist Gagan Narang and Chain Singh finished fourth and sixth respectively in the event.

All the three shooters have already secured quota places for next year's Rio Olympics.

An international shooting competition is being held in India after a gap of almost five years, the last being the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games.
