September 26, 2015  16:33
Mumbai police expect a floating crowd of approximately 30 lakh people across 120 visarjan points during the final immersion on Sunday. Around 45,000 cops, from the rank of constable to joint commissioner, will be deployed to control the crowds.

Since the past week, all holidays of policemen have been cancelled for bandobast duty. Most personnel will be in plainclothes. Cops have already held meetings with local residents, NGOs and volunteers for their support.
