No meeting planned between Modi and Pak PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif will be staying at the same hotel - New York's iconic Waldorf Astoria. But there is no meeting planned between the two.

There is no meeting scheduled between PM Modi and Nawaz Sharif, said the external affairs ministry.

But what if they bump into each other? "Well, if they bump into each other at the hotel, there will of course be Salaam-Dua," a Pakistani government official told NDTV.

Modi is on a five-day visit to the United States and has a packed scheduled ahead of him.
