India's missile test site, Wheeler Island, named after APJ Abdul Kalam

Day after the New Delhi Municipal Corporation renamed Aurangzeb road to APJ Abdual Kalam road, the Odisha government decided to pay tribute to the former president by naming India's missile test site, Wheeler Island, after him.Odhisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik made the announcement. The former president who was also known as the missile man of India and was the man behind this project. His association with this project goes back to as many as three decades.
