A con man walked into a Harley Davidson showroom at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, asked to take a test ride and roared away. No one has seen him since then.


The well-dressed man strode into the showroom at 3 pm Tuesday and introduced himself as a software professional. After expressing interest in buying a Street 750, he asked if could take the 'hog' for a ride.

"The stranger furnished an identity card, a mobile phone number and his office address. After registering the details, the showroom employees handed him the keys," said Banjara Hills sub-inspector B Ramesh. The ID details have been found to be fake.


The showroom management has a particular route for its test rides. The man, however, took another route and sped away.
