A special CBI court yesterday heard the argument on quantum of sentence against the convicts, including MCD officials, in connection with with the Commonwealth Games street-lighting scam case. The verdict was pronounced today.

Mahla, accountant Raju V. and the civic bodys tender clerk Gurcharan Singh, besides private firm Sweska Powertech Engineering Pvt Ltd, its managing director TP Singh and director JP Singh who were illegally favoured in the award of street-lighting contract during the Games.
