Just a day after Anupam Kher and Ashoke Pandit slammed the filmmakers who have returned their National Awards to protest against the 'growing intolerance' in the country, Vidya Balan too joined the ranks. The Kahaani star said she will not give back her national award as it was an honour bestowed on her by the country and not the government. Filmmakers Dibakar Banerjee and Anand Patwardhan were among the 10 film personalities who have returned their National Awards in solidarity with FTII students and against growing intolerance in the country.
