Quake aftermath: Three dead in J&K

Two women died of heart attacks while another person was killed in a roof collapse following the strong earthquake that hit Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon, Mukhtar Ahmed/ Rediff.com reported.

A senior police officer said the two women, residents of north and south Kashmir suffered massive heart attacks during the earthquake and died instantly.

One more person was killed when the roof of a house collapsed in the mountainous Mahore area of Reasi district in Jammu region, according to Pawan Kotwal, divisional commissioner Jammu.
