Urdu poet says he would happily carry PM Modi's shoes

When litterateurs are returning their awards in protest against the Dadri lynching incident, Urdu poet and Sahitya Akademi awardee Munawwar Rana seems to have decided to use the opportunity to get closer to PM Narendra Modi.

Rana said that he would be too happy to carry the shoe of Modi if the latter invited him in the capacity of an elder brother."He is like my elder brother. And I have said in one of my poems that if loved like an elder brother, I would happily pick up his shoes", said Rana.
