The Aam Aadmi Party has filed a FIR against Union Minister VK Singh over his controversial comments on the Faridabad Dalit killing.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also demanded that the minister be sacked and said the comment was shameful and prosecutable under the SC/ST Act.

In Ghaziabad, a parliamentary constituency that VK Singh represents, the minister kicked up a storm with his comments that the Centre cannot be blamed if somebody throws a stone at a dog to shield it from criticism for the incident in which a Dalit household was set on fire in Faridabad.

"See, the thing is, never associate local incidents with the Central government (sarkar). There is an inquiry going on. There was a dispute between families. The disputehow did it turn outwhere did the administration fail, after these it comes to the Centre," Singh said.

"For everythinglike if somebody throws a stone at a dog, then the government is responsibleit is not like that," he added.
