Times of India reports: Pakistan's intelligence agencies have warned the government that Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing has tasked its agents to kill Pakistani Prome Minister Nawaz Sharif and Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed to create chaos in the country on a massive level.

The reports, the home department of Pakistan's Punjab province said, were received on Thursday and it subsequently issued a highalert to security institutions over an assassination threat to Sharif and Saeed.

"It has been reliably learnt that RAW has planned to undertake high-value assassinations in Pakistan to create a wide-scale chaos," read a letter issued by the department.

RAW had already tasked agents to assassinate the PM and Saeed, it said.

"RAW officials are planning to portray the actions as retaliatory strikes by extremist groups like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan to avenge recent terrorist actions," the circular added
