Two mild earthquakes hit Nepal

Two mild earthquakes measuring 4.8 and 4.2 on the Richter Scale today jolted Nepal, but no damage was reported.

The first tremor measuring 4.8 magnitude with epicenter located at Dolakha district, situated 120 km east of Kathmandu, was felt at 1.18 pm, according to the National Seismological Centre.

Another 4.2 magnitude tremor was felt at 1.21 pm with epicenter located at Dolakha. 

A total of 399 numbers of aftershocks were recorded by the National Seismological Centre after the April 25 great earthquake that killed around 9,000 people.
