Bank holiday for 5 consecutive days in October

This is an important alert for all bank customers.

October will see five consecutive bank holidays, and some banks have taken it upon themselves to alert their customers via SMS of the same so no one is stranded for want of cash.

The five holidays are:

October 21: Puja

October 22: Vijayadashami

October 23: Muharram

October 24: 4th Saturday

October 25: Sunday.

Naturally, expect a heavy rush at ATMs for withdrawing cash on these days.
