In a fresh twist to the news, it is now being reported that Peter Mukerjea has not yet been charged with murder.


What has happened so far is this:


-- Peter Mukerje has told the CBI that he knew that Sheena Bora had been killed and that he played along, but charges against Mukerjea have yet to be framed. The CBI says that Peter knew of Sheena's murder but has not been charged with murder.


-- The CBI tells the court that Peter had falsely told his son Rahul that he had spoken to Sheena when he knew that she was dead.


-- The CBI says that Peter was on a call during and after Sheena's murder. Rahul also told the CBI that he had recorded his father's phone call where he said he had just spoken to Sheena in the US. The CBI said that Peter's phone call to Rahul was made after Sheena's death.
