Lalu and family take their seats

Turning a deaf ear to the indictment of dynastic politics, RJD chief Lalu Prasad, his wife and former chief minister Rabri Devi along with his two sons, daughters and son-in-laws have taken their seats at Gandhi Maidan,to witness Nitish Kumar's swearing-in ceremony.


Lalu, Rabri and their sons Tej Pratap and Tejaswi Yadav, who are set to take oath as ministers, are sharing the dais with galaxy of leaders from across the country including the chief ministers of eight states.


Lalu's elder daughter Misa Bharti, a doctor-turned-politician, and his other daughters along with their husbands, have already occupied their seats in VIP enclosure near the main dais.


CM designate Nitish Kumar also arrived at the dais in Gandhi Maidan and met Lalu and other leaders personally. All eyes are on the arrival of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who is expected to attend the function. NCP's Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel are also expected.


Lalu takes his seat between BJP's Venkaiah Naidu and HD Deve Gowda. Naidu and Rajiv Pratap Rudy are the PM's representatives to the ceremony
