RJD chief Lalu Prasad's son Tej Pratap Yadav fumbled twice while taking oath as a minister in Nitish Kumar government in Bihar today, prompting Governor Ram Nath Kovind to correct him. Yadav (25) uttered the word 'upekshit' (neglect) instead of 'apekshit' (expectation), virtually turning around the meaning of the sentence.

The Governor pointed this out and asked Tej Pratap, older of Prasad's two sons, to take the oath again.

In his second attempt, he said 'jab' (when) instead of 'tab' (then) and Kovind corrected him again.

The intermediate, equivalent to Class XII, pass out took his oath in Hindi like Kumar and all 28 members of his cabinet.

Tej Pratap has been given the portfolio of Health. Among 28 ministers, there were only two women with one each coming from RJD and JD(U).
