Two civilians and two CRPF jawans have been injured after militants hurled grenades at a CRPF camp near PNB bank in Jammu Kashmir's Pampore area. The area has been cordoned off and search operations are underway.

The attack comes only two days after Colonel Mahadik was killed after militants opened fire during a search party to flush out hiding ultras. Mahadik was critically injured during the operation in the Haji Naka forest area of Kupwara near the Line of Control with Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He was immediately evacuated to a hospital but he succumbed to injuries, the officials said.
