Cameron takes Modi for a morning walk in Chequers ahead of CEO meet

British PM David Cameron takes PM Narendra Modi for a walk around 16th century home Chequers. Chequers is the country house retreat of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom  and has been the private retreat of the Prime Minister since 1921.


Modi spent Thursday night at Chequers with Cameron. The large house and extensive grounds make up the official country residence of the British prime minister and are located in Buckinghamshire, 30 miles northwest of the capital London.


The house is covered by its own act of Parliament and reserved only for the use of serving British leaders.


Cameron also hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping there.

India and the United Kingdom on Thursday announced deals worth 9 billion Pound (Rs 90,550 crore) as they signed a civilian nuclear pact and decided to collaborate in the field of defence and cyber security besides launching a railway rupee bond in London.British Prime Minister David Cameron described the relations between the two sides as a "new dynamic modern partnership" and reiterated his country's support for India's permanent membership of the UN Security Council.
