Delhi government denied that it had issued any cabinet note proposing to buy high-tech equipment for surveillance by its anti-corruption branch."I don't even know the meaning of word snooping. If wehave to strengthen ACB then it will need things like car, computers, stationary and other things," said Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain.

The AAP government had on Friday sparked a new line of controversy by passing an order providing hi-tech spying equipment to the ACB. The plan to buy such equipment is a part of the government's Rs 36 crore budget for the ACB and the devices would have control to tap phones of any official in the national capital.
