3 Gorkha Rifles jawans injured in explosion

Three Gorkha Rifles jawans were injured when a grenade in their truck went off in the high security Garhi Cantonment area in Dehardhun this afternoon.

Four persons including the jawans and the driver of the truck were on board the vehicle when the explosion took place, a source at the SSP office said adding details are awaited and all senior officials have rushed to the spot.

Jawans who sustained injuries in the explosion have been hospitalised. The jawans are said to have been on their way to the market to buy vegetables when the explosion took place, the source said.
