Minister Rijiju hits back at Naqvi: I eat beef, can anybody stop me?

Days after Minister of State for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that those who eat beef should go to Pakistan, Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju said his colleague's statements were "unpalatable', The Indian Express reports.

I eat beef, Im from Arunachal Pradesh, can somebody stop me? So let us not be touchy about somebodys practices, Rijiju said during a visit to Aizawl on yesterday.

This is a democratic country. Sometimes, some statements are made which are not palatable.
