Emphasising on Modi government's achievements on its first year in office, BJP chief Amit Shah says, "Despite the BJP not having power in several states in eastern India, we worked for the development of the region."

"There is a limit in trying to fool the people. I dare the Congress to bring up the 'zero loss' theory again," he adds.  "I'm glad to inform you that even opposition could not impose any allegation of corruption on this government in the past year."

On black money, he says, "What has the Congress done in its 60 years in power for recovering black money? We have enacted a law on black money and we are determined to get the 'black money' back."

When the Vajpayee government began, the growth rate was around 4 per cent.  After one year of Modi govt, growth rate is now 5.7 per cent," he says.
