DMK to file appeal against Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa's acquittal. DMK general secretary K.Anbazhagan is one of the petitioners in the Rs 66 crore disproportionate assets case against Jayalalithaa. In 2014, a trial court convicted Jayalalithaa with 4 years jail term and Rs.100 crore fine, but the Karnataka High Court accepted Jayalalithaa's appeal and acquitted her of all charges.
