The Central Board of Secondary Education was scheduled to declare the Class 12 board examination results today, at 12 pm. As lakhs of students attempted to check their results, the CBSE official website crashed due to excessive online traffic.

Students can however get their results through the CBSE's interactive voice response system, by calling (011) 24300699 or (011) 28127030. The charges for IVRS are 30 paise per minute.

Or, through the board's SMS service at 57766 or 7738299899. This service will cost them Re 1 per SMS.

In a change from the past years' routine, this year the board is declaring the Class 12 examination results before the Class 10 results.
