The Aam Aadmi Party has
completed 100 days in office and plans to escalate its power battle with
the Centre in a massive public meeting, which it calls an "open
Cabinet," this evening in Delhi.
In the meeting dubbed as 'Jan Samvaad' at Central Park in Connaught Place, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to push for full statehood for Delhi and call for a referendum, according to an NDTV report.
Kejriwal received permission to hold the meeting this morning from the Delhi police, which reports not to his government but the Centre. Huge traffic jams are anticipated in the city because of the rally.
