After Ram Jethmalani, Subramanian Swami to argue for Asaram
May 23, 2015  22:19
Living up to his promise made to Asaram, BJP leader and leading lawyer Subramanian Swami today moved a bail application in a trial court here and will be arguing for the release of the self-styled godman.

Swami's assistants appeared in the court to submit the application. Judge Manoj Kumar Vyas allowed the application and has listed the matter for arguments on Tuesday.

"Swami himself will be coming on May 26 to argue on the bail application," said an assistant advocate, who appeared in the court with the application.

Swami had come to Jodhpur on April 23 and had visited Asaram in the jail, where he has been lodged for over a year and a half.
