Modi's mantri gets a thorough snubbing trying to play VIP at airport

When will they ever learn? Union minister Ram Kripal Yadav received a thorough snub at the hands of a security officer when he tried to enter the Patna Airport through the exit gate, proclaiming his VIP status.


The security officer at the gate, a woman stopped him, but when Yadav insisted, she called her boss on the walkie-talkie and stopped him at the gate. Yadav is caught on CCTV camera trying to argue with the officer but she refuses to relent. Sheepishly he then turns away enters the airport through the Entry gate like he should have.


Yadav is a Lok Sabha MP from the Pataliputra parliamentary constituency and is the Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation.


This morning, Madhya Pradesh home minister Babulal Gaur embarrassed his partymen when he reportedly said the wife of a Russian leader was curious about how he wore the dhoti without a zip or a belt.


"I told her I can't teach you how to wear it, but I can certainly teach you how to remove it, but that too later not now,'' local newspapers quoted the veteran leader as saying during an event, also attended by BJP's state unit chief Nandkumar Chouhan.
