At least 2 killed, 20 injured in suicide attack near Kabul airport

Just in: Kabul police say the suicide attack took place close to an airport entrance used by foreign military vehicles.

Two teenage girls were killed in the attack, with more casualties feared and at least 20 wounded, reports BBC.

A spokesman for the interior ministry, Najib Danish, told reporters that one foreign vehicle and two civilian vehicles were damaged in the attack.

A police spokesman told Reuters news agency that the suicide attack appeared to have been targeting NATO troops.

Details awaited.
