Chants of Modi, Modi are echoing through Shanghai as the PM's fans wait for his arrival as he is scheduled to meet the Indian disapora before leaving China and making his way to Mongolia.

Around 5,000 people have gathered for the reception, a reminiscent of Modi's Madison event in the US last year.
