'60 years wait ends' as PM Modi lands in Mongolia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Mongolian capital Ulan Bator on Saturday on the second leg of his three-nation tour."A 60 years wait ends.

PM @narendramodi arrives in Ulaanbaatar. This is the first ever Prime Ministerial visit from India to Mongolia," tweeted MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup.

The Prime Minister's first stop in Mongolia will be the Gandantegchinlen Monastery, where he would gift the Bodhi tree sapling to the chief abbot.
