India sends IAF plane to Namche Bazaar

IAF sends one MI-17V5 to Namche Bazaar (Nepal) for assessment of damage due to earthquake. Namche Bazaar is the near the Mt Everest base camp.

Krishna Dhakal, Deputy Chief of Mission, Nepal Embassy, says, "As per reports more than a dozen people have been killed and there has been enormous damage to property. We do believe support and assistance from Govt of India will continue in the days to come."
