PM Modi inaugurates Rs 18k crore IISCO steel plant

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the modernised IISCO Steel Plant at Burnpur in West Bengal.

The plant, worth Rs.18,000 crore, is part of the PM's vision of increasing domestic steel output.

IISCO modernised at a cost of Rs 16,000 crore to raise production capacity from 0.85 mtpa to 2.9 mtpa.
