A case was registered today against Dera Saccha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim and his two aides for allegedly abducting a woman who had gone to his Sirsa ashram to attend the satsang, police said.

The case was registered with Jawahar circle police station here following a local court direction on a complaint by the woman's husband Kamlesh Kumar yesterday.

Kumar said in the complaint that his wife Guddi Devi, 25, was in touch with the Dera's managing director DPS Datta for few days and Datta was inviting her to attend a satsang.

Initially, Kumar refused to go there but when his wife insisted, he accompanied her to Sirsa, police said.

"They went to Sirsa on March 24 in a train. For next 4 days, she attended the satsang in women's group and met him only once on March 28. Next day on March 29, one of the Sevadars told him that his wife was in deep meditation," Kumar had said in his complaint.
