Polls open in British election amid total suspense

Polling stations across the United Kingdom have thrown open their doors. A total of 650 Westminster MPs will be elected, with about 50 million people registered to vote. According to the Guardian, it looks like another hung parliament is in the offing, with the Labour and the Conservatives tied at 35per cent votes each.
