Salman reaches Mumbai court, waits outside courtroom

The actor was tried afresh under the harsher charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder which is punishable with imprisonment up to 10 years.

Abha Singh, lawyer and activist says that if it is indeed culpable homicide, the actor will be taken into custody immediately and he will then have to apply to the high court for bail.

Salman Khan is now waiting outside the courtroom.
