Judge: ALL eight charges against Salman Khan have been proved

Judge Deshpande has said that ALL the eight charges against Salman Khan have been proved, which includes culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The judge is reading out the order as you read this. The verdict came almost immediately as the session opened. Salman can of course appeal, but he is likely to be taken into custody immediately.

For how long Salman will go to jail, will have to be seen.

Culpable homicide not amounting to murder attracts a maximum of 10 years in jail.
