Sangh bats for new curbs in IT Act

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh wants the Information Technology Act to incorporate new restraints on netizens' freedom to comment following the Supreme Court's quashing of Section 66A as "unconstitutional".

A Sangh source today advocated fresh amendments to the IT Act, citing how Article 19(2) of the Constitution allows Parliament to impose "reasonable restrictions" on the freedom of speech and expression.
