Uttar Pradesh Civil Services paper leaked on WhatsApp

The first paper of the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services 2015 preliminary examinations was leaked in Lucknow. Much to the shock of the investigating agencies and the police, WhatsApp, an instant mobile messaging app, was used to leak and then eventually sell the question paper of the first paper.

According to the police, the question paper was sold for Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh and the deal was struck on WhatsApp. "We got a tip-off that a group has been created on WhatsApp a few days ago to get in touch potential buyers of the question paper. As soon as the question paper was made available on the group, four suspects were arrested from Allahabad," a Special Task Force official said
